The Fen Orchid, also Yellow Twayblade or Bog Twayblade called, is a light green orchid which grows in bogs. The species is mainly to be found in Northern and Central Europe. In Western Europe you can find the Fen Orchid partly in moist dune valleys, otherwise you can find this species mainly in calcareous fens, more rarely in fens. In Germany the species is very rare and threatened by extinction.
