Creeping Lady’s-Tresses (Goodyera)
Overview
The Creeping Lady’s-Tresses is a relative rare wood orchid, which flowers at midsummer. You can found them mainly in half-shady pinewoods, mostly in moss pads.
Eponymous was on one side a fine netlike drawing on the leaves, which form a basal rosette, in addition the disposition for production of stolons. Thus the Creeping Lady’s-Tresses stands often together in little groups.
In July ethe small, white flowers appear, which are arranged one-sided. Inflorescence and flowers are tomentous.
